▶子宮内細菌叢の異常は，妊孕能の低下に関与する可能性はあるが，はっきりしていない．
▶慢性子宮内膜炎は子宮内膜局所のCD138陽性形質細胞を伴う持続的な炎症疾患である．
▶慢性子宮内膜炎は妊娠における着床を阻害し，流産率を上げる可能性があり，治療するとその後の妊娠成績が向上する．
▶治療は原則，ドキシサイクリンなどの抗菌薬であるが，子宮内膜ポリープを認める場合には，抗菌薬を用いずに子宮鏡手術を優先する必要がある．
