▶血中プロラクチン（PRL）濃度が高値であっても症状がない場合，マクロプロラクチン血症との鑑別が必要である．
▶高PRL血症の治療にはドーパミンアゴニスト製剤が第一選択とされ，カベルゴリンは副作用が最も少なく使いやすい．
▶卵巣過剰刺激症候群（OHSS）の発症リスクが高い場合，ドーパミンアゴニスト製剤はOHSSの発症率および重症化率を低下させることが報告されている．
