▶不妊原因の約半数が男性サイドに存在する．泌尿器科医による男性不妊治療で，①精液所見が改善しART→IUI→タイミングといった婦人科不妊治療の“step down”が可能となる症例や，②性行為が可能となり自然妊娠が可能となる症例が多々ある．男性サイドに問題がある場合は，泌尿器科男性不妊専門医に積極的に紹介してほしい．
▶男性不妊診療は，問診，身体診察，ホルモン採血，陰囊超音波，CT・MRIなどの多角的なアプローチにより行われる．
