子宮移植の現状

▶近年，先天性および後天性子宮性不妊女性の挙児のために子宮移植という新たな生殖補助医療技術が1つの選択肢として考えられている．
▶海外ではすでに臨床研究が開始され，これまでに87例の子宮移植が実施され，49名の児が誕生している．
▶子宮移植には他の生殖補助医療技術と同様に多くの医学的，倫理的，社会的課題が内包され，臨床応用にはこれらの課題を十分に鑑みたうえで，慎重に検討される必要がある．
▶子宮移植はこれまで挙児が不可能とされていた子宮性不妊女性に福音をもたらすことが大いに期待される．
