〔SUMMARY〕　わが国の肝細胞癌はB型肝炎ウイルス・C型肝炎ウイルス感染を成因として発症するため，肝癌の早期発見のためには，肝癌の高危険群の設定と綿密なスクリーニングが重要である．本稿ではウイルス別高危険群の設定および実際のスクリーニングから確定診断に至るまでに必要な腫瘍マーカーの測定と画像診断のアプローチの方法について概説する．〔臨床検査　49：1201-1205，2005〕
