〔SUMMARY〕　サイトカインは白血球間の情報伝達に関与する(糖)蛋白質であり，様々な疾患への関与が報告されている．アレルギー疾患ではヘルパーT細胞(Th細胞)，特にTh細胞type2(Th2細胞)から産生されるサイトカインが，IgE産生，肥満細胞の活性化，好酸球などの遊走・活性化作用を有することから，その病態形成に重要な役割を果たしている．また，近年Th2細胞選択的な遊走活性をもつケモカインがアレルギー疾患に関与していることが報告され，ケモカインの測定は新たなアレルギー疾患マーカーとして注目される．〔臨床検査　49：757-764，2005〕
