花粉症を含めたアレルギー炎症において，局所の好酸球集積および活性化が重要であることは広く認識されているが，好酸球は局所のみならず末梢血においてもすでに活性化され病勢を反映する．今回，本稿では病勢を反映する好酸球活性化の指標測定法について，局所検体を用いた検査から末梢血分離好酸球を用いた解析法，さらに簡便な全血法による解析法まで概説する．〔臨床検査　50：177-182，2006〕
