GISTの病理組織検体を用いたc-kit, PDGFRαの遺伝子検索―免疫組織化学との比較

　GIST(gastrointestinal stromal tumor；消化管間質腫瘍)では，その腫瘍化にc-kit遺伝子またはplatelet-derived growth factor receptor α(PDGFRα)遺伝子の機能獲得性突然変異が関係している．これらの遺伝子変異の検索は，形態的・免疫組織化学的に診断の困難なGISTの確定診断や，分子標的薬イマチニブによる治療効果の予測に有用なことがある．最も入手しやすいホルマリン固定パラフィン包埋病理検体を用いた遺伝子検索により，確定診断や治療に役立てる必要がある．〔臨床検査　50：767-772，2006〕
