　尿路感染症の診断は臨床所見および尿，血液生化学所見からなされることが多い．しかし診断装置の進歩により画像診断が行われる機会が増えている．このため，より詳細な情報が得られるようになっているが，画像診断が行われたがために偽疾患を作りだしてはならない．そのためには，それぞれの画像の特徴を理解し，診断する必要がある．この稿では日常遭遇する機会の多い急性腎盂腎炎を中心に画像の特徴を記載する．〔臨床検査　51：184-188，2007〕
