はじめに

　欧米では，肝移植は脳死ドナーを中心として，多くの肝疾患に対する根治的な治療法として認知されている．一方，本邦では，独特の社会または文化的背景から脳死ドナーの普及が一向に進まず，生体肝移植が中心となっているのが現状である．本稿では，肝移植についてレシピエントの移植適応と周術期管理に脳死および生体ドナーの適応基準を加え，血液一般検査をはじめとした細菌・ウイルス学的検査や薬物濃度測定などの臨床検査のかかわりを中心に述べたい．
