小児アレルギーとエピジェネティクス

　近年アレルギー疾患患者は増加している．その発症には遺伝的背景に加え，環境因子の変化が複雑にかかわっていることが予想される．エピジェネティクスとはゲノムDNAの後天的な修飾・制御によって，ゲノム情報を活用する高次の生体システムである．アレルギー疾患のように遺伝的因子や環境因子のような異なる複数の病因が同時に関与する疾患で，エピジェネティクスはその二者の橋渡しをする要素としても注目されている．また，主要免疫担当細胞であるヘルパーT細胞の分化やアレルギー疾患発症に深く関与していることが明らかになってきた．
