文献概要

　胸膜中皮腫の画像所見は片側性の胸水，びまん性胸膜肥厚像，多発性の結節，腫瘤で，進行例ではこれらすべての所見がみられ，患側胸郭の縮小を伴う．病初期には胸水だけのこともある．中皮腫様肺腺癌などとの鑑別は画像上困難であるため，確定診断には病理学的検索が必須である．造影CTが有用で，質的診断，腫瘍の拡がりの評価(病期分類)，生検部位の決定，治療効果の判定，経過観察に用いられる．アスベスト中皮腫の診断には詳細な石綿粉塵曝露歴の問診を含めた臨床，画像，病理の総合的な診断が重要である．
