発癌とオートファジー

　近年，オートファジーと疾患の関係について研究が盛んである．特に，オートファジーが細胞内の恒常性維持を担っていることから，癌との密接な関係が示唆されている．しかしながら，オートファジーが発癌に対して抑制的に働いているとする説，逆に促進的に働いているとする説があり，一定の見解は得られていない．また，オートファジーと発癌を結びつけるメカニズムについても多数の仮説が提唱されているものの，不明な点が多く残されている．
