オートファジーと自然免疫

文献購入ページに移動 自然免疫は,病原性微生物の感染から身を守るうえで欠かすことのできない重要な防御機構である.自然免疫応答に特に深くかかわっているのが蛋白質分解機構であり,なかでも近年はバルク分解機構であるオートファジーの役割に関して注目が集まっている.オートファジー関連因子であるAtg16L1は,その一塩基多型がクローン病の発症と強く相関することが報告されるなど,炎症制御と深くかかわっている.また,Atg5やAtg7といったオートファジー関連因子の欠如は,ウイルス,細菌,真菌など,病原体に対する自然免疫応答の破綻に繋がることが明らかとなっている.本稿では,オートファジーと自然免疫応答の関係について解説する.
