文献概要
PSAは前立腺癌の発見,治療において最も有用な腫瘍マーカーであるが,癌特異的ではなく前立腺特異的な蛋白であるため血清PSA値が比較的低値の症例ではその特異度に問題を生じる.この問題を解決するために様々な補助診断の手法が提唱されているが,現状ではこれらの手法によって完全に癌症例と非癌症例を鑑別することは不可能であり,今後画期的なマーカーの出現も含めたさらなる診断技術の進歩が望まれるところである.
