3．喫煙は抗CCP抗体産生に影響を与えるか？

1．喫煙と関節リウマチ

　喫煙は全身性エリテマトーデス，Basedow病，関節リウマチ(rheumatoid arthritis；RA)などの自己免疫疾患のリスクファクターであるとの報告がある．多くの自己免疫疾患は遺伝的因子と環境因子とのかかわりとで発症する多因子疾患であり，喫煙は自己免疫疾患発症の重要な環境因子の1つと推察される¹⁾．

　喫煙とRAとの関連の報告は古くからあり，発症リスクであるのみならず，重症度や骨破壊の進行度と関連するとの報告や，リウマチ結節や心合併症などの関節外病変との関連も報告されていた²⁾．またリウマトイド因子(rheumatoid fac-tor；RF)陽性や抗体価と関連するとの報告もあるが，喫煙量との関連など，不明確な点も多かった．
