プロテインS低下と不育症

大規模臨床研究により，血栓性素因の一つである先天性プロテインS(PS)欠乏症は不育症リスクが15倍，特に22週以降の死産(後期不育症)リスクが7倍増加することが証明された．発症機序としては，胎盤内血栓による母児循環不全や胎盤梗塞によると考えられているが，血栓形成以外の機序の可能性もある．治療法としてはまだ一定の見解は定まっていないが，ヘパリン療法が推奨されており，妊娠成功率の改善が得られている．
