脂肪細胞と増殖因子

近年のトランスクリプトミクス・プロテオミクス解析により,脂肪細胞が種々の増殖因子を産生・分泌することが明らかになった.しかし,脂肪細胞由来の増殖因子の生理的意義,肥満症の病態形成における役割については十分明らかではない.最近,成人の脂肪細胞は絶えず入れ換わっており,寿命を終えた脂肪細胞を新たに生じた脂肪細胞が置換することが報告された.このことは,生体では脂肪細胞に対する増殖因子が常に働いている可能性を示唆している.本稿では,脂肪細胞の増殖に及ぼす要因について最近の知見を中心に概説する.
