■他に分類されない末梢性T細胞性リンパ腫（PTCL-NOS）は，悪性リンパ腫全体の約7％に相当する比較的頻度の高い病型である．

■本病型はヘテロな疾患の集合体であるため，腫瘍細胞の形態学的特徴が症例ごとに異なる．共通した特徴としては，細胞質は好塩基性で，核クロマチンはやや繊細であり，核形態は不整形である．

■本病型では骨髄への浸潤頻度が必ずしも高くないことから，末梢血や原発巣における腫瘍細胞の形態を把握してから骨髄における腫瘍細胞の同定を行うことが重要である．
