MALDI-TOF MSを利用した菌種同定法

■質量分析は，①試料をイオン化する，②イオンを分離する（重さで分ける），③そのイオンを検出する，の3つのステップからなる．

■MALDI-TOF MSを用いた菌種の同定は，データベースに登録されている菌種とのマススペクトルのパターンマッチングである．

■MALDI-TOF MSは一般細菌だけでなく，嫌気性菌，抗酸菌，酵母様真菌，糸状菌の同定も可能である．さらに，血液培養陽性時の培養液から直接の菌種同定にも活用できる．
