■過剰鉄は酸化ストレスを誘引するsecond hit因子の1つであることが想定されている.
■血清フェリチンが非アルコール性脂肪性肝疾患(NAFLD)の組織学的重症度・線維化の予測因子となる可能性が大規模臨床研究により示されている.
