腸管出血性大腸菌感染症

●腸管出血性大腸菌（EHEC）感染症は年間4,000例程度の報告がある．

●無症状保菌者が報告数の30～35％程度を占める．

●EHECは極めて多様である．

●消化器症状が先行する溶血性尿毒症症候群（HUS）の菌不分離例では，血清診断が有効である．
