メタボロミクスによる癌診断の新たな展開

Point

●メタボロミクスは，有機酸，アミノ酸，脂肪酸，糖などの多種多様な低分子量代謝産物（メタボローム）を対象とした研究である．

●質量分析（MS）を応用した測定技術が急速な発展を遂げ，メタボロミクスの解析手法として普及したことで，癌の診断バイオマーカー探索研究が広く行われるようになった．

●大腸癌，膵癌などの消化器癌に対する血清メタボローム解析により，早期診断に有望なバイオマーカー候補が検出された．

●今後，さらに研究データを蓄積することにより，メタボロミクスによる癌の早期診断が可能になることが期待される．
