感染性心内膜炎の診断

Point

●初回検査で検出できなくても，感染性心内膜炎（IE）の疑いが続く場合は，繰り返し検査を実施することが重要である．

●経胸壁心エコー検査によるIEの検出感度は，経食道心エコー検査に比べて低い．経胸壁心エコー検査で陰性であっても，IEが臨床的に疑われる場合には積極的に経食道心エコー検査を施行する．

●人工弁，特に機械弁では，心エコー検査によるIEの検出感度が低い．
