●ヘパリン起因性血小板減少症（HIT）の最新の診断と検査について概説する．

●HITの病態，抗体検査について正しく理解するために，HIT抗体の免疫学的特性について理解することが重要である．

●HIT抗体の免疫学的測定法の結果だけでは過剰診断をしてしまう可能性がある．

●HIT抗体の機能的測定法が可能な施設は限定されるが，臨床診断と免疫学的測定法から判断して，必要があれば検査を依頼する．
