POINT

●心血管体内植込み型電子機器（CIED）植え込みは，合併症の多い高齢者においても増加し，CIED感染率は上昇している．

●CIED感染が疑われる全ての患者は，抗菌薬投与前に最低2セットの血液培養を採取する．

●経食道心エコーは，成人におけるCIED関連心内膜炎の診断に有用である．

●CIED感染の治療の原則は，デバイス抜去と抗菌薬治療である．

●米国のガイドラインであり，わが国の医療体制，施設のローカルファクターなどを考慮して使用する．
