Point

●糞便微生物移植法(FMT)は,多様性が低下した患者の腸内細菌叢を健常人の腸内細菌叢に置換する治療法である.

●FMTの歴史は古いが,基礎医学的な研究の進展に伴って近年急速に普及している.

●FMTの有用性が立証されている疾患は,再発性(難治性)Clostridioides difficile感染症(CDI)のみである.

●FMTの安全性・簡便性を向上させるために,糞便バンクや,カプセル化した細菌カクテルの開発など,さまざまな試みが進められている.
