Point

●“病原体から体を守る仕組み”を広く免疫と呼び，生来備わってすぐに発動する仕組みを“自然免疫”，2回目の感染時に強く現れる仕組みを“獲得免疫”という．

●自然免疫系の仕組みは，病原体に直接攻撃を加える仕組みと，センサーとして働く仕組みに分けられる．

●病原体の侵入があると，まず自然免疫系が働き，同時に獲得免疫系を活性化する．獲得免疫系では，抗体やキラーT細胞が病原体の排除に働き，さらに自然免疫系の細胞を動員する仕組みも働く．

●獲得免疫系の細胞のなかには，自然免疫系のような働きをする細胞群がある．
