Point

●体外受精・胚移植（IVF-ET）とは，複数個の卵胞発育を促して超音波下に採卵し，体外で受精させて分割期あるいは胚盤胞期まで胚培養して子宮腔内に移植する方法である．

●採卵周期では，卵巣予備能（OR）に応じて排卵誘発剤を用いた卵巣刺激（COS）を行うとともに，一方では排卵しないよう黄体化ホルモン（LH）サージの抑制を施すことによって，十分な数の成熟卵胞を発育させる．

●生殖補助医療（ART）は2022年4月に保険適用（妻の年齢が43歳未満）が開始された．実施施設には日本産科婦人科学会への登録，実績報告，学会見解順守の誓約が求められた．タイムラプスインキュベーターや子宮細菌叢検査は先進医療Aとして認められる一方，着床前遺伝学的検査（PGT）を行う採卵周期は全て自費診療となっている．
