Point

●医療関連髄膜炎・脳室炎は，市中発症の細菌性髄膜炎よりも臨床症状や髄液の異常所見が軽微であるため，時に診断が難しい．

●coagulase negative StaphylococcusやCutibacterium acnesなどの皮膚常在菌が起因菌となることが多く，髄液培養でこれらが検出された場合には，コンタミネーションと決めつけずに患者背景を確認する．

●原則的にデバイスは速やかに抜去し，抗菌薬治療によって髄液培養が陰性化したことを確認したうえで，二期的にデバイスの再留置を行う．
