Point

●微生物検査技師の方々が微生物関連の知識を用いて他の医療従事者と連携することで診断エラーの減少に寄与できる．

●血液培養などで検出された微生物からのアプローチを考える．

●非感染症専門医は微生物のことに詳しくない，ということを念頭に置いてアドバイスを行う．

●感染症の診断が付いた後，さらに別の疾患（別の感染症，非感染症）が隠れていることがある．微生物名から疾患を想起できる場合，通常の感染症の原因微生物でない場合などは注意が必要である．
