Olanzapineが体重，糖脂質代謝に与える影響

より安全にolanzapineを使用するための資料収集を目的とし，一施設にてolanzapineが処方された全症例より，投与前後の検査値が明確な入院25例を抽出し，体重および糖，脂質代謝検査値を収集検討した。その結果，体重とBMIは6か月以降に有意に増加し，体重で2.1kg，BMIは0.9kg/m2(3.9％)の増加がみられた。血糖値に有意な変動は認めなかったが，総コレステロールは投与後3か月より有意に増加し，HDLコレステロールの有意な増加を伴っていた。総コレステロール変化率と体重変化率には正の相関が認められ，olanzapineが脂質代謝に対し直接的な影響を与え，体重増加を起こす一因となっている可能性が示唆された。
