気分障害および不安障害における月経前症候群の頻度―健常女性との比較

抄録

　月経前症候群(PMS)または月経前不快気分障害(PMDD)と精神疾患との関連を探るために気分障害および不安障害における月経前の症状を調べ，健常対照群と比較した。その結果，いらいら感，抑うつ気分，不安が認められた例は対照群48％に対し，気分障害群76％，不安障害群69％であった。このうち重度の精神症状を示し，PMDDが疑われた例は対照群8.6％に対し，気分障害群31％，不安障害群20％と有意に高率だった。精神症状と身体症状の重症度には相関が認められ，気分障害群および不安障害群では対照群よりも有意に重症例が多かった。本結果よりPMSならびにPMDDと気分障害および不安障害との関連が高いことが示され，共通する病態基盤が推測された。
