抑うつを伴う片頭痛にparoxetineが著効した4症例

抄録

　抑うつと片頭痛の合併にparoxetineが著効した4症例を経験した。これまでにSSRIをはじめとする抗うつ薬が片頭痛に効果があると報告され，その薬理機序として痛みの増悪因子と考えられるうつ症状を軽減させることを介した二次的な作用やセロトニン神経系を介した片頭痛への直接的な作用が指摘されている。今回経験した症例はいずれもparoxetineの投与後，抑うつ症状の改善に先んじて比較的速やかに片頭痛が改善した。したがって，以上のことはparoxetineの片頭痛に対する効果が抑うつ症状の改善による二次的な効果というより，セロトニン神経系への直接的影響が強いことを示唆していると考えられた
