乳幼児精神医学の現状と展望

はじめに

 筆者はすでに,15年前に一度,乳幼児精神医学について「展望」をものしたことがあるが23),その当時は,わが国ではまだ乳幼児精神医学の実践,研究といったものはあまりみられなかった。しかし,この15年の間にいくつかのグループにより乳幼児精神医学に対する取り組みが積極的になされるようになり,乳幼児精神医学あるいは周産期精神医学に関する書物もいくつか発表されるようになってきた48,50)。また,2008年の夏には日本でWAIMH(世界乳幼児精神保健学会)の総会が開催されることになっており,世界から多くの参加者があるものと予想されている。

 このように,日本においても乳幼児精神医学の領域は少しずつ根付いてきており,多方面で広がりを持ちつつある。本論文では,乳幼児精神医学の現状と展望をいくつかのテーマについて述べることとする。
