成人期のアスペルガー症候群者への臨床心理学的支援

はじめに

　アスペルガー症候群(Asperger syndrome，以下AS)は，自閉症の3つの主症状(社会性の障害，コミュニケーションの障害，想像力の障害およびそれに基づく行動の障害)のうち，コミュニケーションの障害が軽微であるグループである。言語や認知発達の遅れは少なく，知的な能力は正常であることが多い。筆者らは，ASと高機能自閉症などを連続的なもの(自閉症スペクトラム)と考えており，高機能広汎性発達障害のなかでの下位診断を意味あるものと位置づけていない。近年，医療場面や学校場面などにおいてASの人々への関心・治療的介入の必要性が高まっており，特に幼児期や児童期の子どもの臨床像や対応に関してはさまざまな情報を得られるようになってきている。一方，成人期のASの人々に関する研究や知見は少なく，特にその対応，治療に関しての報告はほとんど見当たらない¹²⁾。そこで本稿では，成人期のASの人々が抱える問題について述べるとともに，これまで行われてきた臨床心理的支援技法を概観し，どのような治療的介入が有効であるか検討することとする。そのうえで，症例から，実際の支援のあり方について論じていく。
