DSM-5発刊前の最新動向―フィールドトライアルの結果を中心に

　DSMは2013年における第5版の完成・出版に向け，改定作業が最終段階を迎えている。2012年5月の第165回米国精神医学会議においてDSM-5最終草案に関するマラソンシンポジウムが開催され，最終草案に至るまでの経緯に加えフィールドトライアルの結果が発表された。信頼性に関する結果はおおむねDSM-Ⅲ，DSM-Ⅳ作成時を大きく下回る数値であり，これは米国内外において懸念の声を招く結果となった。本稿はフィールドトライアルの結果のみにとどまらず，DSM-ⅣとDSM-5作成時におけるフィールドトライアルの実施条件を比較検討するものであり，ひいては診断分類システムにおける信頼性の果たすべき役割について問うものである。
