インターネットの医療情報から増悪を繰り返した心気障害の1例

　症例は34歳，男性。動悸や痺れなどの自覚症状についてインターネットで調べるうちに，自身が難病であるという考えにとらわれるようになり，著しい不安・焦燥を呈し自殺企図に至った。治療により精神症状はいったん改善したものの，体部白癬による皮疹の出現に伴いインターネット検索への傾倒と不安・焦燥が再燃した。近年，インターネットで医療情報を検索することで健康への不安や心気症状が悪化する現象がcyberchondriaとよばれるようになり，問題視されてきている。本症例では不安から情報要求が高まりcyberchondriaの状態になったことに加え，心気障害の患者に生じる孤独感がインターネットの過度な利用を生じさせ，さらに病状を悪化させたと考えられた。
