サイコデルマトロジー―皮膚科と精神科の連携

精神皮膚科学(サイコデルマトロジー；psychodermatology)とは，皮膚と精神の関連について，包括的医療の立場から皮膚科学と精神医学・心身医学双方の知識と技術を用いて臨床および研究を行う領域である。
サイコデルマトロジーが扱う主な病態として，皮膚寄生虫妄想，強迫性障害に関連する障害(抜毛症やスキン・ピッキング障害など)およびアトピー性皮膚炎についての報告を示し，精神科での治療においては，掻痒や皮膚異常感覚を伴う皮膚症状と精神症状の連動への理解，スキンケア行動とストレス対処行動の改善が重要であることを指摘し，皮膚科と精神科の地域連携について考察した。
