精神科急性期における経時的な隔離・身体拘束中の危険性評価—ビジュアルアナログスケールを用いた新たな評価表による試み

　先進諸外国に比べ，わが国の隔離・身体拘束時間が長い理由を探るため，解除を判断する過程の詳細を明らかにすることを目的とした。新開発した「隔離・身体拘束中の危険性ビジュアルアナログスケール」を用い，4病院の急性期病棟において，隔離・身体拘束が実施された患者に対し，開始から7日間「現時点での患者の行動」と「再び起こす可能性」の2側面で行った時系列の危険性評価を対象に，その経時変化を検討した。結果，「現時点での行動」評価は速やかに，「可能性」評価は緩やかに減少を示した。わが国では判断過程に「可能性」評価が主に影響しており，人員配置，医療環境，手続きの違いなどの関与が考えらえた。
