ADHDと発達性協調運動症（DCD）—DAMP症候群の再考と再興

はじめに
　神経発達障害に，いわゆる「不器用」と呼ばれる協調（運動）の問題を伴う例が多いことは臨床的によく知られている。「協調」とは，視知覚・触覚・固有覚・位置覚などさまざまな感覚入力をまとめあげ，運動意図に基づき運動計画を生成，出力，結果のフィードバックに基づき修正を行うという一連の「脳機能」である。協調はいわゆる体育やスポーツに限らず，ボタン，スナップ，ジッパー，ホックなどを含め衣類の着脱，靴紐の結び，箸やカトラリーの使用など食事，描画や書字，ハサミなどの道具やコンパス・定規などの文具，鍵盤やリコーダーなど楽器操作，バランスや姿勢制御，手と目の協応を必要とする遊び，指先での操作を行うゲーム機，姿勢保持など，さまざまな日常生活や学校生活に深く関係する重要な脳機能のひとつであり，その発達は子どもの学習，認知，社会性，情緒の発達や自己認知，自尊感情とも深く関わっている²⁰⁾。
