抄録　エビデンス「何を(what)」が明らかになってくるにしたがって，「どのようにすれば(how)」，エビデンスを効果的，効率的に日常の保健医療活動に取り入れ，医療の質を上げることができるかという問いに答えるための実装科学(implementation science)という学問分野が注目されている。その方法論に基づき行われる研究を，dissemination & implementation research(普及と実装研究，D&I研究)と呼ぶ。D&I研究では，エビデンスの実装のための一般化可能な知識体系を構築することを目的とし，学際的なアプローチにより，患者，保健医療従事者，組織，地域などのステークホルダーと協働しながら，エビデンスに基づく介入evidence-based intervention(EBI)を，効果的，効率的に日常の保健医療福祉活動に組み込み，定着させる方法を開発，検証する。本稿では，D&I研究とはどのようなものかを解説し，重度の精神疾患患者において診療ガイドラインの実施のための戦略を評価することを目的としたD&I研究の具体例を紹介する。
