精神科専門医への臨床研究のすすめ

抄録　臨床場面で最適な治療法を選択する際に，その治療法の効果や副作用などに関する科学的根拠や患者の意向に基づき決定するが，その科学的根拠は，臨床研究により創出される。しかし，科学的根拠が曖昧な場合は，臨床医はこの問題を臨床疑問として提示し，臨床研究によりその答えを確かめる。臨床疑問は臨床の専門医の経験の上で初めて明確となり，その答えを確かめるための臨床研究の実施においても専門医が重要な役割を担う。臨床の専門医こそ，臨床研究に積極的に参画し，自らの知識と技術を臨床研究に活かすとともに，得られた科学的根拠を活用し，患者の健康増進に役立てる必要がある。そこで，現状における臨床の専門医が臨床研究に参画することの利点と，参画する際の課題について考察した。
