ガイドラインのポイント
　・①エビデンスの重視，②エキスパートの参画，③国民の関与，④独立性，適切な議論と透明性，⑤レビューの実施，⑥社会的価値観や公正性への配慮，⑦先進的な方法論という原則に基づき作成されている。
　・18歳以上の成人期ASDを対象としている。
　・成人期ASDの評価，診断および介入について，患者ケアを最適化することを目的としている。
　・医療関係者だけでなく，平易な文章で書かれているため一般市民も利用者として想定されている。
　・エビデンスの強さは特に書かれていないが，臨床上重要ではあるがエビデンスが不足しているテーマには「研究への推奨」が示されている。
