ガイドラインのポイント
　・ASDに関するNICEガイドラインは19歳以下を対象にしたAutism spectrum disorder in under 19s：recognition, referral and diagnosis(CG128)，Autism spectrum disorder in under 19s：support and management(CG170)と成人を対象にしたAutism spectrum disorder in adults：diagnosis and management(CG142)の3つのパートに分かれている。
　・19歳以下のASDの当事者，家族，支援者を対象にしており，医学領域で大きな関心を集め，BMJ^1,2)などでも紹介されている。自閉症の支援者，当事者，保護者など関係者の意思決定に大きな影響を与えており，医師，心理職，福祉職など自閉症支援者の多くはガイドラインの内容を共通認識として持っている。
