抄録　サイコーシス(精神病性障害)のパーソナリティ症(personality disorder：PD)とのかかわりは，その病態や病因を明らかにする上で重要な研究領域である。本報告では，PDがサイコーシス発症の準備状態を構成していること，サイコーシスの遺伝要因の発現型であることなどの基本的想定が提示され，さらにPDタイプごとのサイコーシスとのかかわり方についての文献の展望が行われた。統合失調型PDは，統合失調症ばかりでなく他のサイコーシスにも遺伝的関連があり，それらに移行し得ること，境界性PDは，統合失調症との結びつきが特に強くはないが多彩な精神病症状を呈し，サイコーシスとの近縁性があることが確認されている。さらに，パーソナリティ特性とサイコーシス，精神病症状などとの関連についての研究の状況について概説した。サイコーシスとPDの関連の探求からは，これらの精神障害の予防や治療における進歩がもたらされることが期待される。
