ADHDに併存する過眠

抄録　成人の注意欠如・多動性障害(ADHD)への関心の高まりとともに，睡眠外来にも思春期〜成人期のADHD患者が睡眠の問題を訴えて来院することが増えている。ADHDではさまざまな睡眠障害を高率に合併することが報告されているが，特に日中の眠気を合併する割合が高い。ADHDの眠気の原因として，閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸症候群(OSA)の合併が多いことは以前から言われてきたが，それらの睡眠障害とは関係なく，ADHDでは眠気を訴えることが多い。ADHDでは約半数が眠いことが報告されており，一方で過眠症の約半数がADHD症状を有していると報告されている。これはADHDと過眠症に共通の病態が想定され，それゆえに両者の合併が多いことが考えられる。今後はADHDの睡眠の問題にも注目し，両者に対するアプローチや治療がますます必要となってくる。
