認知症治療とQOL

抄録　QOLは本来，主観的なものであるが，認知症疾患においては客観的な評価も重要である。認知症を対象とした，疾患特異的なQOL評価票は多数あるが，その内容は相互にかなり異なっており，解釈に当たっては慎重を要する。本稿では，QOL-AD，DEMQOL，DQOL，QOL-D，QUALIDを紹介する。後半は，認知症者のQOLに関連する要因を検討する。評価者が誰かによって大きく異なるので注意が必要である。最後にQOL改善を目指した介入研究を概観する。根本的な治療薬がなく，長期の経過を辿ることも多い認知症疾患の治療においては，QOL重視という視点は臨床上も重要かつ不可欠である。
