抄録　LGBTはかつて，精神医学からは病理的に捉えられていた。同性愛は，その後脱病理化された。性同一性障害に対しても，脱病理化の議論が起きた。DSM-5では，「性別違和」として，精神疾患のリストに残った。ICD-11では，精神疾患の章から，新たな章へと独立し，精神疾患としてみなされなくなった。精神医学は，多様なセクシュアリティを尊重する理解へと変化している。
