排泄症群—DSM-5からDSM-5-TRへの診断基準の変更点

　排泄症群の章について，DSM-5からDSM-5-TRで定義，下位分類，構成に大きな変更は認めない。覚醒時の遺尿と睡眠時の遺尿（夜尿症）では，身体生理学的に病態を異にする部分があることが知られている。DSM-5-TRでは，主語を遺尿症から夜尿症に一部置き換えた上で，疫学・病態に関する具体的内容が盛り込まれた部分を認める。便秘と溢流性失禁を伴う遺糞についても，診断・除外のための診察・検査に関して，DSM-5-TRではより具体的な評価と意義について盛り込まれている。これは当該症候に関わる治療者に対し，身体的評価と介入の重要性が強調されたものと推察される。
